Old World Timber offers one-of-a kind reclaimed wood products from around the world. Our company motto, “Reclaim. Redeem. Repurpose.”, perfectly expresses the synergy of our business model and company mission. In short, we reclaim, redeem, and repurpose more than just wood. We are actively involved in the employment and job creation for individuals with addictive backgrounds and people who have been incarcerated. We are second-chance people working with second-chance wood. We source wood beginning in Kentucky, then to the nation, and now to the corners of the world. Our product lines of reclaimed wood include Kentucky Racehorse, Heartland Barnwood, Industrial Oak, International Exotic Woods, and more. It's our dream to be a part of reclaiming wood and people all over the world.
OGT was founded on the mission of preserving history. Our story started in 1995, when we discovered a huge silver plated coffee pot in a Manhattan dumpster. We pulled it out, and within a week it found a new home as a flower vase in Mary Tyler Moore’s home.
Since that coffee pot, we’ve built a network of developers, contractors and demolition crews interested in preserving history. We salvage across the US and project by project, gained experience in removing small and fine pieces such as lighting, glass, and hardware, to large and complex artifacts such as mantels, stone gargoyles, copper cupolas, carved limestone friezes, and more.
30 years since its founding, OGT is one of the largest architectural antique dealers in the US. In addition to a web store, we have three stores and two warehouses – a total of 250,000 square feet of warehouse alone. Our finds are sourced largely from pre-depression and late nineteenth century buildings preserving pieces from icons such as: The Philadelphia Civic Center, the Ellis Auditorium, the J.L. Hudson Department Store, the Flatiron Building, the New York Times Building, the Plaza Hotel, the Waldorf Astoria, and more.

In early 2014, Michael & Ann Murphy established Eco Relics. The idea stemmed from our desire to prevent usable construction supplies from entering landfills, while simultaneously preserving as many architectural relics as possible. We are passionate about investing in our community here in Northeast Florida through salvaging building materials from various sources and selling them at a fraction of the retail cost. In keeping with our mission of reusing and re-purposing, we’ve set up shop in a historic railroad depot in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville.
OUR MISSION:
Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose
Eco Relics is committed to reducing waste, repurposing supplies, and providing reclaimed and discount building materials to our community.
