Reclaimed Competitors

Since 1977, Timber Industries has been supporting the materials handling needs of major manufacturers and goods suppliers -adopting new techniques and technologies to keep customers ahead of the supply chain curve. In March 2013, Timber Industries became a Women Owned Business company when Annette Walter acquired it. She appointed her husband Shawn as the company’s new CEO, and together they work tirelessly to breathe new life into the industry. Maintaining high-touch customer relations is paramount to Timber Industries-in fact, it is what separates the company from its competitors. With a stringent focus on customer relations, Annette and Shawn use a variety of communication methods to connect with and help support individual accounts. And because they have developed best practices that decrease customers’ costs and increase their productivity, clients view the team as strategic business partners, not just another pallet management firm. Under new ownership and strategic vision, and an expanded network of coverage and network of associations, the company is eager to provide smart, practical and innovative solutions to its customers and strategic partners. Headquartered in Maryland, Timber Industries supplies coast-to-coast, with concentration in the Mid-Atlantic, New England and Southeastern U.S. regions, and has significant expertise in supporting the supply chain needs of: • Chemical manufacturing • Concrete • Foodservice • Consumer goods • Plastics • Printing • Packaging • Abrasives • Logistics and warehousing • Metalworking • Automotive • General manufacturing, commodities and agriculture Whether custom designed, customized or standard, Timber Industries delivers hardwood, softwood, plastic and press wood pallets, skids or crates.
