Facilitate infrastructure investment and service solutions. This is the main contribution to the economic and social development of Brazil by CCR, the largest private infrastructure concession group in Brazil and one of the seven most significant in the world, and also listed on the Novo Mercado (New Market) of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (BOVESPA).
The CCR Group is responsible for administrating 1,571 kilometers of the Nation’s highway system under concession, in the States of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Paraná, with the management handled by the Ponte S.A., NovaDutra, ViaLagos, RodoNorte, AutoBAn and ViaOeste concessionaires, and the most recent, RodoAnel Concessionaire, which is responsible for the administration of the western section of the Mário Covas Beltway.
In 2008, CCR acquired 40% of the capital of the Renovias concessionaire. The highways currently administrated by the company totalize 345.6 kilometers, connecting the city of Campinas with southern Minas Gerais. The stock control of Renovias belongs to Encalso, which owns 60% of its capital.
Besides its involvement in the highway concession area, the company’s growth strategy includes diversifying its portfolio. In November 2006, CCR signed the first PPP contract in Brazil, with the State of São Paulo, for Line 4 of the São Paulo Metro, that will be operated and maintained by ViaQuatro, which has four international partners and is led by the company. The line connects the south end of the city with downtown, and should serve one million people.
ENGIE develops its businesses (power, natural gas, energy services) around a model based on responsible growth to take on the major challenges of energy’s transition to a low-carbon economy: access to sustainable energy, climate-change mitigation and adaptation and the rational use of resources.
The Group provides individuals, cities and businesses with highly efficient and innovative solutions largely based on its expertise in four key sectors: renewable energy, energy efficiency, liquefied natural gas and digital technology. ENGIE employs 153,090 people worldwide and achieved revenues of €66.6 billion in 2016.

In Brazil, ENGIE is the largest private power producer in the country, operating an installed capacity of 10,290 MW in 32 power plants all over Brazil, which stands for about 6% of the country's capacity. The Group has 90% of its installed capacity in the country coming from clean, renewable sources and with low emissions of greenhouse gases, a status that has been reinforced by the construction of new wind farms in the Northeast and by one of the largest hydropower plants in Brazil, Jirau (3,750 MW), located in the Madeira River, Rondônia and inaugurated in December 2016.
The Group is also present in the solar distributed generation market and offers services related to power, engineering and integration of systems working on the development of telecommunication and security systems, public lighting and urban mobility for smart cities, infrastructures and the oil & gas industry.
