Real Estate, Tourism, Construction and Asset Management are the core business functions of the Realestate Group of Companies. The Group, a loose association of independent companies, takes its name from its controlling investor: Realestate Financière Société Anonyme (RFSA). The company is based in Geneva, Switzerland and acts as the major investor in all the Group companies. The activities of the Group in Africa started in the early 1960s with operations in Nigeria and then Botswana, followed by Mauritius, Madagascar, South Africa, Mozambique and Namibia. The experience of the Group dates back to 1870 when G. Battista Giachetti founded one of the leading civil engineering and building companies in Italy – “Impresa Giachetti”. From those early times, the tradition has continued with the first large investment in Africa being the acquisition of a construction company in Nigeria in 1960. A number of other investments followed, leading up to the decision to invest in Botswana, Madagascar, South Africa, Mozambique and Namibia. The Group’s management team is organized by economic sector and controls the activities in each country through a matrix system. Some of the Realestate Group of companies are listed below as :  RDC Properties Limited Botswana - A Property investment company lIsted on the Botswana Stock Exchange.  PAM - Provides Asset Management, Property Development, Consulting and Property Management Services  ICC (Italtswana Construction Company (Pty) Ltd) – Providing construction services since 1970 and registered as Grade E CTB  SSD (Sunnyside farm (Pty) Ltd) – Orange, cattle and game farming etc. since 1974.  CML (Chobe Marina Lodge) – Hotel management company And other companies.  The Group has set its Vision, in being a ‘timely, accurate and trusted partner’ for all its stakeholders.  Integrity, respect, compassion and professionalism are key values from the humble beginnings of the Group in 1870.
