Real Dads Network Information

Real Dads(R) Network is a organization dedicated to increasing the number of fathers involved in the parenting process, thereby strengthening families and communities. We accomplish this by recognizing and celebrating fathers who are actively engaged in the lives of their children; by supporting and providing resources for fathers who would like to take a more active role in parenting; and by encouraging public policies that support shared parenting. Real Dads Network engages in and sponsors a variety of activities – skill-building workshops, informational seminars, male mentoring, networking, Daddy Daughter Dances, Real Dads awards banquet, community and school-based partnerships, advocacy, etc. – designed to educate and encourage men to embrace their roles as dads, husbands and leaders in the context of family and community life. Our vision is to become a nationally recognized leader in the fatherhood movement, to establish chapters around the country, and to unite with other organizations to use our resources to create effective and sustainable social improvement.
