"Real Bar was created as a whole food alternative energy bar designed to deliver delicious, pure, instant fuel for active bodies." Meet John and Gigi Marsh, husband-wife business partners and Real Bar creators. John is the chef/owner of Greensquare Tavern, a farm-to-table restaurant in New York City’s Flatiron District; Gigi is a holistic life coach and corrective exercise specialist. As part of their active and healthful lifestyle, John and Gigi have sampled almost every energy bar on the market. The healthy ones lacked taste, the tasty ones lacked nutritional integrity, and the sport/high protein bars had too much sugar that led to a spike and crash. So Chef John headed for the kitchen, determined to make an energy bar/snack that was tasty, nutritious, and offered long-lasting energy. And so, the Real Bar was born!
