ReadySteadyPlug Information

ReadySteadyPlug is a smart EV charging system for strata buildings. EV charging the whole building can agree on. Our system uses the building's existing electrical capacity. A smart controller (EV Distribution Board) controls, meters and bills energy across every car charging. Each bay gets a standard 15A outlet, and residents plug in using the portable charger supplied with their car. Why buildings choose it: • Each resident pays for their electricity. Individually metered and billed to their own card, with the Owners Corporation reimbursed for the electricity they use. • No switchboard upgrade in most buildings. Charging works inside the electrical supply the building already has. • Never overloads the building. Dynamic Load Management keeps total load within the building's supply limits at all times. • No Wi-Fi or mobile signal needed. Runs reliably in basement car parks with no coverage. • Charge where you park. Works with any EV or plug-in hybrid. • Start small, grow later. More residents add charge points as they go electric, at no further cost to the Owners Corporation. Two ways to fund it. The Owners Corporation either funds the backbone, or pays nothing upfront and the cost is shared by the residents who opt in. Residents start charging, track usage and pay automatically in the app. Strata representatives get a full admin view.
