Reading Hatchery | Turning Ideas into Real Startups The Reading Hatchery is a growing incubator supporting early stage tech founders in and around Reading. We’re building a hands on community for people who want to turn ideas into real, scalable businesses with five startups already operating in the Hatchery and more joining soon. While we’re closely connected with the Entrepreneurship Society and the wider University of Reading network (including HELAB), the Hatchery runs independently to give founders more flexibility, creativity, and practical support. We support early stage founders with: 🧭 Guided startup sprints - helping you validate ideas, build traction, and stay accountable. 💬 Mentorship and support - access to entrepreneurs, coaches, and alumni. 🤝 Community and collaboration - connect with other founders in the Hatchery and across Reading’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. 🚀 Opportunities to showcase your work - including this year’s IGNITE competition, run with the Entrepreneurship Society. Who It’s For If you’re a student, graduate, or early-stage founder with an idea that matters and you want to build it surrounded by people who get it, the Hatchery is here for you. Join us as we grow Reading’s next generation of founders.
