READ Foundation | Strengthening Humanity Through Education Since 1994, READ Foundation has been transforming lives across Pakistan by providing quality, value-based education and empowering communities — with a special focus on orphan children. The journey began with a single school in Riala, District Bagh, AJK, 25 students, one teacher, and Rs. 25,000 in funding. Today, READ Foundation has grown into one of Pakistan’s largest not-for-profit education networks, operating 624 educational institutions (422 formal schools, 120 literacy centers, 82 government-adopted schools), educating over 135,000 students, including 14,000 orphans, and employing 7,000+ teachers and staff.
