Re-centre Information

Re-centre was a private day clinic in Parnell Auckland, which offered premium psychiatric and psychological services to the many New Zealanders and visitors who may experience mental health challenges. At Re-centre, specialists and clinicians provided expert assessment and diagnostic services, then proven medical treatment and therapy choices on the pathway to better ‘mind health’. All aspects of a person’s identity and life are recognised and respected when visiting Re-centre – the elements of physical, cultural and emotional health are always understood alongside an individual’s presenting concerns. Re-centre care is personalised to one person’s past experience, expectations-ahead, and readiness. Re-centre facilitated an innovative private practice environment for specialist psychiatrists to perform consultative assessment and management services for their patients. Our psychiatrists lead Re-centre’s personalised care through an array of medical treatment options, best-suited to the person’s needs and experience. And integrated with this initial path were Re-centre’s ‘Shared Courses’ of therapy (group programs), and ‘1:1 Personal’ therapies, expertly presented by clinical psychology specialists in collaboration with their psychiatrist colleagues. Modern and well-respected interventions such as neurostimulation TMS therapy may be presented to patients alongside multiple complementary lifestyle therapies, as comprehensive paths to well-being. Re-centre lead private psychological medicine services in New Zealand with innovative information connectivity to referrers, healthcare colleagues and all participants in a patient’s course. Re-centre also connects with patients by innovative e-tools, to communicate and enrich the care relationship, and mind health.
