RazorSecure helps train operators, train builders and system suppliers apply practical cyber security to rolling stock and wayside systems. Our products support distinct engineering tasks: - Delta detects unusual host and network activity, giving teams evidence to investigate. - Echo monitors the availability, performance and configuration of supported assets, with historical records to help engineers understand changes. - Security Gateway enforces network boundaries on rail hardware. - Digital Maintenance Gateway controls local and remote maintenance access and records the work carried out. - Security Dashboard brings alerts, asset status and maintenance evidence from the products deployed into a shared operational view. Secure Train brings these capabilities together in a modular architecture, with contributions from Westermo and EKE-Electronics. Teams can select the capabilities that fit their vehicle architecture, existing equipment and maintenance requirements. Founded in 2014, RazorSecure has Delta intrusion detection software deployed on 3,200+ rail vehicles. Our work includes collaboration with Northern and technology partners across the rail industry. Our engineering work connects CLC/TS 50701 and IEC 62443 with practical decisions about monitoring, network control and maintenance access. Our founder, Alex Cowan, was involved in developing IEC 63452. We also consider the engineering implications of NIS2 and the EU Cyber Resilience Act for operators and product suppliers.
