At Integrity Martial Arts Academy, we pride ourselves on having an outstanding culture. At the heart of everything we do is - well - how we do it. We learn, train, eat, speak, win, lose and do everything we can the right way: with 'integrity'. Integrity defines who we are. We even named our academy after it. We dedicate ourselves to quality training with a strategic mindset, and then build our confidence as well as the confidence of those around us by sharing the experience. We grow as a group and make sure nobody is alone in their journey.

Combat Defence Systems was founded right here in Perth on September 2012 by Gino Vallelonga with the goal of sharing the dynamic art of Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino martial arts to the people of Western Australia. Since then, we have become one of the premier martial arts academies in Perth. Owner and head instructor Sifu Gino Vallelonga has over 15 years of experience in various martial arts, is a 1st degree kickboxing black belt and is a certified instructor in Jeet Kune Do Concepts (JKD) - a martial art created by the legendary Bruce Lee - and the Filipino Martial Arts, certified by none other than Guro Dan Inosanto, a protégé, sparring partner and close personal friend of Bruce Lee himself. We are the only martial arts academy certified to teach JKD Concepts in Western Australia under the Inosanto Martial Arts Instructor Association. Combat Defence Systems instructor Sifu James Flain is also certified to teach both JKD and The Filipino Martial Arts under Guro Dan Inosanto. Here at Combat Defence Systems, we prefer to teach martial arts in a holistic manner. Our students are trained extensively in Muay Thai Kickboxing, Kali, Silat, Jiujitsu, and learn to apply what they've learned in these disciplines to flow seamlessly from one art to another dependant on the range or situation they may find themselves in. This cross-training is essential and is the basis of JKD. We believe in the saying "you learn something new every day". This fundamental belief is the reason why our instructors continue to extensively train themselves in a variety of disciplines. This way, you can be rest assured that you can continue to say with confidence that you are learning from the best. Of course, our training program is also about having fun. Students progress at a faster rate when their surroundings are conducive to learning. This is why we strive to promote and maintain a positive and supportive attitude within the Academy, which we keep modern, clean, fully equipped and ego free. Our classes are open to both adults and ...
