Rawhide Capital acquires small manufacturing and service businesses — typically $2–8M in revenue — one at a time, with capital raised for each individual transaction. No fund, no committed capital, no deployment mandate. We are not traditional private equity. We do not run a fund, optimize for IRR, or buy with a planned five-year exit. We invest patient capital with the intention of owning and operating businesses for the long term. What we look for: • Established owner-led businesses with strong fundamentals • Founders who care about legacy, continuity, and what happens to the company, employees, and community after a transition • Small manufacturing and service businesses, roughly $2–8M in revenue — deliberately below the range my advisory practice serves • Businesses I have a personal reason to care about: components I actually use, aviation businesses I want to fly from, products I'd own anyway • Multi-generational transitions where the founder cares who takes over • Capital raised deal by deal What we bring: • Operating experience — our team has led companies as CEOs and COOs and understands the realities of running a business • Financial discipline shaped by nearly a decade overseeing 12+ operating companies inside a single-family office • Leadership continuity — we retain and strengthen the senior teams already in place rather than replacing them with outside operators Rawhide Capital and Rawhide Executive Solutions do not overlap, and one is not a path to the other. Rawhide Executive Solutions advises owner-led companies at $20–75M in revenue. Rawhide Capital acquires businesses at roughly $2–8M. Companies I work with through the advisory practice are not acquisition candidates for Rawhide Capital, and information from advisory work is not used for acquisition sourcing.
