RawAutos.com was founded in October 2007 to fill the void left by many automotive media sources. This void was, and is not limited to, automotive enthusiasm, personal opinions derived from experience, buying advice from someone who has worked as a car salesman, and most importantly, attention to details when talking about cars. Josh Lewis, founder and editor, has been called by certain people inside the industry, the Howard Stern of automotive writing. While he's fair and honest, he's not afraid to say when a car company got a certain car wrong, simply because, as a former car salesman, he would hate to have someone buy a car they won't love or enjoy. He's even discouraged people from buying certain cars while he was selling, simply because he knew they wouldn't treat it with the respect the vehicle deserved. Deranged dedication is what that's called. RawAutos.com will never use preconceived notions when reviewing cars or the industry they're in. We will always give facts and opinions garnered by facts but also impressions.
