Rawalpindi Flying Club is one of the oldest flying clubs in Pakistan. Originally founded in 1957 and since then has produced few of the finest pilots in the country. Most of these pilots are working in national airlines, charter companies, and abroad Moreover, the club has a history of employing prominent flying instructors, having thousands of hours of experience. The big names of Pakistan Air Force like Air Commodore Zafar Masud and A.W. Mufti were part of this club flight instructor team. Rawalpindi Flying Club is located on the Benazir Bhutto International Airport. It is the sole airport serving Pakistan capital and also a PAF base. Student pilots experience the environment of an international airport. Apart from the training aircraft, national / international airliners, air force movement, VVIP air traffic is also routine affair on the capital airport. Thus, giving a better and most realistic experience to the student pilots, the kind of experience in which they will be flying when inducted in airlines. The club pays utmost attention to each individual student. Each student is given briefings throughout different phases of training.
