Ravinia Reading Center is an authority in science-based reading instruction and strategies to help children learn to overcome dyslexia and reading difficulty. As speech-language pathologists, we understand the complexity of reading difficulty. We teach children how to read, especially those having a hard time making progress with instruction from reading tutors, teachers and their parents. At our Chicago area reading clinic in the north suburb of Highland Park, we help kids with dyslexia and reading difficulty build the phonemic and phonetic skills they need to read fluently, and enjoy reading. With the proper reading help, a struggle with dyslexia is not the end of the world. Because reading is a skill, and it can be taught.
