Ravi Ramnarain, CPA, LLC is a U.S.-based boutique CPA firm that specializes in Technical Accounting (US GAAP and IFRS) and Public Filing Readiness (SEC and International) services for companies throughout the world. We do things a bit differently; instead of ramping up on inexperienced/under-experienced full-time staff, we only contract with LICENSED and experienced consultants that have been there, done that, and are ready to hit the ground running on each client engagement. Our current fourteen (14) person team consists of the partners and twelve (12) highly decorated CPAs / Chartered Accountants. We also know our niche quite well. Only the Big 4 firms can get away with charging astronomical rates for the aforementioned services. We have seen that most of the other Top 100 firms try to do the same; however, the expertise is generally lacking and clients are not going to pay through the nose for sub-par deliverables. We currently help bridge this gap by subcontracting for the smartest of the Top 100 firms (i.e., those in-tune with this ubiquitous reality) and handling their CAS/FAAS clients’ technical memos (particularly with regard to IFRS, where that expertise is rare outside of the Big 4), SEC filings, internal controls work, general accounting overage work, and such. When not working with those firms, we work directly with CFOs/CAOs throughout the world who have immediate advanced accounting needs (based on their internal staffing shortages). Our rates are unheard of by FY 2024 standards; better/faster/cheaper is the motto that we live by.
