Ravenwood Health is a private nonprofit, Trauma Informed Agency that strives to provide a safe and compassionate community that supports and respects the unique journey of each person's path to healing, creating hope for all those who walk through our doors. Our goal is to offer behavioral health care to the residents of Geauga County and surrounding neighborhoods who are experiencing mental health or substance-related issues. Those with severe mental illness have a life expectancy that is 20-25 years shorter than the general population. Addressing all the health issues of the individual in a comprehensive manner is more likely to have a positive outcome. At Ravenwood Health, we will pursue both physical and mental health recovery for the individuals we serve. Accredited by the Joint Commission, today, we have over twenty-five programs across eight sites, sensitive to differing socio-economic needs across the community. We support all ages, genders, and beliefs, oftentimes in our offices, but also at a client’s home, within a school, a community center, or offsite throughout the region during a response to crisis. Our clinical and administrative team has grown to over 150 employees with an annual budget of over $8 million. We build hope, empower individuals and families, and strengthen our neighborhoods through mental health and addiction services.
