Consulting on vehicle and powertrain systems. Wendell Creps retired from General Motors Powertrain Group in April 2005 as a GM Technical Fellow for Energy and Drive Quality. Most of a 40 year career focused on powertrain technology and integration of powertrains into vehicles. Mr Creps was author and instructor for a portion of GM Powertrain's Engine Design Class. Activities have included: - ISO Coordinator for LMS North America - Consultant for SAE Automotive Resources Institute(ARI has closed), completing several individual and team projects. - Member of GM Powertrain Cross Performance Integration Team that evaluated and made recommendations for all future powertrain applications for General Motors - Team Leader on special projects for next generation powertrain proposals for GM vehicles. - Powertrain member of global team responsible for defining and applying measures for drive quality in GM vehicles - Powertrain member of Fuel Economy Strategy and Technology Planning for North America. - Lead engine calibrator and development engineer for one of GM engine family.
