Vivarus Diagnostics is a medical device company developing AI-based clinical decision support for rare hematological and oncological disease. Rare disease knowledge exists in the literature. It does not reliably reach the clinician at the moment it is needed. Our system reads structured patient data already present in the hospital record and produces patient-condition matching reports, with every output traceable to the published diagnostic criteria and peer-reviewed literature it draws on. The clinician decides. We are building toward certification as a Class IIa medical device under EU MDR, which requires prospective clinical evidence and a validation architecture designed before the go-to-market. It is slower than shipping software, and it is the reason a hospital will eventually be able to use it at all. Vivarus Diagnostics is in development and is not CE-marked. It is not available for clinical use.
