WCS stands for wildlife and wild places. As the world’s premier wildlife conservation organization, WCS has a long track record of achieving innovative, impactful results at scale. We run programs spanning more than 3 million biologically critical square miles in more than 50 countries and all the world's oceans. We build on a unique foundation: Our reach is global; we discover through best-in-class science; we protect through work on the ground with local and indigenous people; we inspire through our world-class zoos, aquarium, and education programs; and we leverage our resources through partnerships and powerful policy influence. Our nearly 4,000 diverse, passionately committed team members in New York City and around the world work collectively to achieve our conservation mission.
We manage thousands of nature reserves and run marine conservation projects around our coasts. There are 46 Wildlife Trusts covering the UK, the Isle of Man and Alderney. Each of the 46 Wildlife Trusts is an independent charity with its own trustees.
We are a vibrant and local wildlife charity working to protect Cornwall's wildlife and wild places. We have helped people enjoy nature for over 50 years. We are passionate about nature conservation and work only in Cornwall, so all money raised in Cornwall stays in Cornwall.
We protect and enhance Cornwall's unique wildlife and wild places on land and in our seas. We work as a network of volunteers, business partners, local groups and agencies, environmentalists, botanists, marine biologists, farm environmental and land management specialists - all dedicated to conservation and have helped people enjoy nature for over 50 years.
