RapStock.io was founded in a University of Virginia dorm room by hip hop enthusiasts who were tired of arguing about their favorite hip-hop artists. Inspired by fantasy-football, the two co-founders created a game, similar to fantasty-football, where users could make predictions on the popularity & success of different hip-hop artists and win prizes & bragging rights if they were correct.
