RAPS Diving Club Information

R.A.P.S is proudly the longest affiliated Diving Club registered with Diving Queensland. We have produced many State and National medalists and have had divers awarded "Diver of the Year" in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. We have been awarded the Trophy for Best Club in Australia at the Age Nationals in 2005, runner up in 2006 and "Outstanding Club of the Year in 2007". In 2009 we were awarded "Best and Fairest Team" at the Asia Pacific Rim Junior Diving International held in Wellington New Zealand , Best "Club of the Year" Queensland 2011, 2012 Best "Club of the Year" Australian Age Nationals in Adelaide. Club Achievement Award 2013. We have had three members; Ashley de Muelenaere, Taneka Kovchenko and Beth Nicolson, who were been selected as members of the QAS (Queensland Academy of Sport), and have won medals at many National Competitions. Just recently Lara Tarvit was elevated from NTID to QAS, Lara has also won many medals at State and National competitions, Emily Boyd is also a current member of R.A.P.S and in the QAS. In 2013 Georgia Sheehan has been elevated from NTID to QAS Congratulations Georgia!!!!
