We are excited to announce that Rancon has officially joined Squint/Opera. Founded in 2002, Squint/Opera has over 70 specialist 3D artists, animators, film makers and designers working for some of the largest brands, museums, architects and property developers around the world. Squint/Opera and Rancon have been working together successfully for a few years now, so the merger felt like the next logical step. Having a mix of game designers, film makers, animators, graphic designers and VFX artists under one roof allows us to go beyond the possibilities of traditional agencies. Over the last eighteen months together we have delivered five digital exhibitions for museums, built two large-scale immersive sales suites for developers in New York and Hong Kong, launched a ground-breaking infrastructure planning map for the GLA and 5 virtual reality films and visualisations for architects. Squint/Opera’s renowned design and storytelling skills combined with Rancon’s track record for delivering award-winning digital products across multiple platforms will mean an expanded offer for clients and many exciting opportunities to develop R&D-led products and services that will disrupt the market. We are already working on several VR products and believe these will be real game changers.
