Ramapo for Children Information

Ramapo for Children is a nonprofit dedicated to helping children and young adults with social and emotional challenges and developmental disabilities experience success and unlock their potential. For more than 100 years, Ramapo has worked from the belief that all young people want to learn, feel valued, and succeed. Through direct service programs and training for educators and youth-serving professionals, Ramapo provides the tools and support needed to foster growth, resilience, and belonging. Ramapo’s programs include: ● Camp Ramapo, a residential summer camp serving children who require a more supportive environment due to disabilities, mental health challenges, and histories of trauma ● The Staff Assistant Experience (SAE), a transitional residential program for young adults with autism, ADHD, and learning differences ● Ramapo Retreats, adventure-based experiences that build confidence, communication, teamwork, and leadership ● Ramapo Training, which brings the Ramapo approach to schools and organizations through coaching and consultation ● School Age Child Care (SACC) programs that support social development and peer connection for elementary school students
