Ramah Day Camp provides an educational camp experience designed to share the values and practices of Judaism in all aspects of everyday life. Ramah Day Camp operates under the auspices of the Jewish Theological Seminary. Ramah Day Camp opened its doors in the summer of 1999. Renting space from the owners of the prestigious Circle M Day Camp, whose directors had chosen to retire, Ramah began the journey of integrating the best of Circle M's philosophy with the successful camping tradition of Ramah. The result is a unique Jewish camping experience summer after summer. The national Ramah network includes three day camps operating with great success in the Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia areas, eight overnight camps and a variety of Ramah Israel Programs.
