It is an initiative by Kanchan Cassettes and Series (K-Series) and takes place in Jaipur. The first edition of RFF took place in the year 2013 with a vision of gaining universal recognition for Rajasthani cinema and boosting the morale of Rajasthani folk artists and artisans. K-Series has been successfully conducting its annual editions since 2013. The 11th edition of RFF will be taking place in September 2023. RFF provides a platform for different regional film industries and artists to come together on the platform and appreciate each other’s efforts in thriving the different cultures and languages present across the country. RFF team finds cinema the best medium to promote the traditions, customs, language, music, and art of India's diverse regions and is dedicated to preserving the essence of our culture. The 10th edition was diverse and magnificent, resulting in a number of collaborations with various regional film industries. The festival has spread across India, featuring not only Rajasthani films but also other regional films in order to assist those involved in the regional cinema industry.
