Watershed Management Group (WMG) develops community-based solutions to ensure the long-term prosperity of people and health of the environment. We provide people with the knowledge, skills, and resources for sustainable livelihoods.
We envision a world where the relationship between the Sonoran Desert and its people creates prosperity for all. This includes all people, plants, animals, land, and waters of the United States, Mexico, and Native American nations found in the Sonoran Desert.
We work with diverse people, including schoolchildren, neighborhood groups, low-income populations, businesses, and city governments. WMG offers technical training to professionals, like our Water Harvesting Certification and Green Infrastructure and Low-Impact Development training.
At the core of our work is the value and practice of diversity, equity, and inclusion with the goal of advancing care for people and the environment. In recruiting for our team, we welcome the unique contributions that you can bring in terms of education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, veteran’s status, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation and beliefs.
Green Roofs for Healthy Cities - North America Inc. is a rapidly growing not-for-profit industry association working to promote the industry throughout North America. In 2004, Green Roofs for Healthy Cities became a formal industry association registered as a not-for-profit 501(c)(6). It is managed under contract to the Cardinal Group Inc., the firm that originally established the organization, and run by an independent board.
Green Roofs for Healthy Cities’ mission is to develop and protect the market by increasing the awareness of the economic, social and environmental benefits of green roofs, green walls, and other forms of living architecture through education, advocacy, professional development and celebrations of excellence.
We are striving to facilitate changes that will bring green roof and wall technologies to the forefront of high-performance restorative green building design, implementation, and maintenance. The development of the green roof and wall market requires that we:
• Research the public and private building and community-wide benefits of green roofs and walls in various cities and climate zones across North America.
• Develop and provide value-added products and services to our membership base.
• Engage a wide variety of stakeholders and educate the general public on the many social, economic and environmental benefits of green infrastructure.
• Establish cost-effective public policies to recognize the public benefits and fund the widespread implementation of green infrastructure thereby helping to reduce the higher upfront capital costs associated with green roof and wall technologies.
• Develop professional training and accreditation courses to facilitate excellence in green roof and wall design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Facilitate the international exchange of information on policies, products, science, and research.
Hydro-Rain is now part of the Husqvarna group! We're excited to be part of the Gardena Division where we can help "change the way the world waters" as the largest irrigation company in the world.
We understand that time is money, so our products are designed to save you time. Whether it is programming a controller, installing the system, or adjusting the system our products go together faster and easier.
You have better things to do, than doing a job twice. Every product we sell goes through rigorous testing before we put our name on it.
Have a problem with one of our products? We want to know about it. If any product fails in three years, we will replace it. And we’ll probably ask to have the product that failed back, so we can make it better.
The heart of Hydro-Rain values are integrity, fair dealing, and lasting relationships between manufacturer, distributor, and contractor. We want to build lasting relationships that benefit all parties.
