Manitoba is home to the third largest aerospace sector in Canada – and Red River College’s Stevenson Campus is an active partner, training our workforce to participate in all aspects of the aviation and aerospace sector.
Since 1985 our Southport Campus located in Southport, MB has been home to the Aircraft Maintenance Journeyperson Program. Apprentice AMEs from Manitoba and across Canada attend the 2,200-square meter campus well-equipped with a wide selection of training aircraft, including a Cessna Citation II jet, as well as repair shops and classrooms.
After more than ten years in operation, our Winnipeg Campus on the Richardson International Airport is recognized as the centre of aircraft maintenance training in Winnipeg. Along with our Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Diploma Program, the Winnipeg campus offers Aerospace Manufacturing Technician Certificate, Introduction to Aircraft Maintenance Program and is a CGSB certified Non Destructive Testing (NDT) examination centre. We also offer a NDT courses such as LPI, MPI and Materials and Processes course. Our 55,000-square foot facility includes modern classrooms, training labs, and an aircraft hangar with everything from floatplanes and helicopters to modern business jets – all dedicated for use in our training programs.
We are more than an unforgettable night out, we also help organizations inspire better performance.
We use the methods pioneered on our world-renowned stages to create meetings + events people don’t want to miss (or leave), content that connects because it’s funny and honest, and professional development programs that get people to change—because they get people.
Through hundreds of engagements a year, we drive personal growth and organizational improvement. Interaction by interaction, we help people and companies get better at the things they do every day.
The Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre exists to celebrate the widest spectrum of theatre art. Deeply rooted in the province of Manitoba, which gave it life and provides for its growth, Royal MTC aspires to both reflect and inform the community it serves.
The Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre (Royal MTC) was Canada’s first English language regional theatre, created when two Winnipeg theatre companies merged in 1958 under Artistic Director John Hirsch and General Manager Tom Hendry. Their goal was to produce great theatre with mass appeal. Royal MTC became a model for regional theatres throughout North America, and received a royal designation from Queen Elizabeth II in 2010. Sixty years later, we remain Manitoba’s flagship theatre.
Each year, we produce 10 plays on two stages, a regional tour of Manitoba and Northwest Ontario, a wide range of youth programming and two annual festivals: The Bridge: A Festival of Ideas (founded in 2021) and North America’s second-largest Fringe, the Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival (founded in 1988). Royal MTC also commissions, seeds and develops new work, premiering an average of one new play each season. Attendance across all productions and activities averages 300,000 each year.
