Mobile Creches works with the children in the birth – 12 years age group, living on the construction sites & slums of Delhi (NCR). Our experience on ground, strengthens our voice to advocate for policy change. Till date, we’ve reached out to 7,50,000 children, trained 6,500 women as childcare workers, run 650 daycare centres & partnered with 200 builders. In the slums, we ensure childccare arrangements and health through community run creches and linkages with state services. We reach 14,000 children through these programmes every year.

Bhumi is one of India’s largest independent youth volunteer non-profit organisations. Bhumi as a platform enables over 12,000 volunteers in more than 12 cities across India for causes such as education, environment, animals and community welfare. Bhumi is the recipient of the ‘Leader in Volunteer Engagement Award’ conferred by iVolunteer in 2014. Geographical Presence: Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Chandigarh and Delhi NCR. Bhumi has two core areas of work - Education and Civic Projects Ignite: Transformational Education Ignite is Bhumi's supplementary education programme for under-privileged children. The programme is delivered during the weekends by over 2,000 trained Bhumi volunteers. Over 10,000 children are benefiting from the programme in 2015 across 12 Indian cities with the aim of providing children with quality education to enable them become responsible and productive citizens of the future. The programme consists of English, Mathematics, Science, Robotics, Computers, Dance, Arts, Sports, Mentoring and Life skills support. Catalyse: Transforming Citizenry Catalyse consists of Bhumi’s civic initiatives that engage volunteers in causes like animal welfare, community welfare, disability, environment, health etc. The programmes consisting of one-off and regular volunteering activities engage over 10,000 volunteers each year in over 15 cities across India.
