Pelotonia is a community determined to see an end to cancer by accelerating funding for innovative cancer research, as it hosts its signature series of iconic and impactful events with cycling, entertainment, and volunteerism experiences. This year’s events include the iconic Opening Ceremony on August 1, Ride Weekend on August 2-3, and Gravel Day on October 4. To date, the Pelotonia community has raised more than $309 million. With support from generous funding partners – American Electric Power Foundation, Bath & Body Works, Huntington National Bank, Peggy & Richard Santulli, Victoria’s Secret & Co., M/I Homes, Safelite, The Haslam 3 Foundation, Cardinal Health, Diamond Hill Capital Management, Nationwide Insurance and Pharmavite – Pelotonia directs 100 percent of every dollar raised by participants to cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. Cascade Bicycle Club, the nation’s largest statewide bicycle organization, is powered by 9,000 members and serves bike riders of all ages and abilities throughout the Puget Sound region and across Washington state. We teach the joys of bicycling, advocate for safe places to ride, and produce world-class rides and events. Our signature programs include the Seattle to Portland, Free Group Rides, the Advocacy Leadership Institute, the Bike Walk Roll Summit, Let's Go, and the Major Taylor Project.
