Rafter Insurance Agency was started in La Habra, CA by Mike Rafter Sr. in 1961. Good products, great service and word of mouth helped Rafter Insurance to continue to grow throughout the years. The agency is still based in La Habra and is now run by Mike Rafter Jr. In 2003 the Northern California office was opened in Folsom, CA by Tom Rafter. The same formula from the early days; good products, great service and word of mouth is still being used today in the Folsom office. Being in business that long, we have seen new customers go from newly minted drivers, to start families of their own. While we still insure them, we now also insure their children and their grandchildren's families. They have entrusted in us to provide them with protection of their family's personal assets and to provide peace of mind over the years. Being around for 50 years, we have seen a lot, and seen a lot of changes. But the one thing that has never changed is people want to know who their insurance agent is...and they want their insurance agent to know who they are.
