Raf Meyer Information

Raf's entrepreneurial interest started early in life when he was encouraged by his Mum to buy his first business at age 19. Might not have lasted long as he sold it a year later at break even. This experience was invaluable to him because it gave him the drive to pursue the business arena. Between the ages of 20 to 30 he worked normal jobs and had other business ventures that he worked on did not go so well either. This turned around for him when life became more serious and he was settling down to start a family and that's when he got focused on further studies to better himself. He achieved a Business Degree and qualifications in Finance and this started his journey as a Financial Planner. After working for most of the major banks he was finally presented the opportunity to acquire his own book of clients through the AMP Network. Due to developing his experience while with the Banks, he wanted to do things different in his own practice and in 2009 Symmetry Financial Services was born. In a little over 3 years, RAF received his first award for excellence and achievement by his peers. He retained his award status for a few more years while he was with AMP. In 2019 after 10 years, RAF has sold a successful business back to AMP and feels grateful for been given the opportunity to work with amazing clients and being able to support them in successfully changing their lives. Today he is the Director of STRK Corporate and Meyer Group, outside of this he spends his time speaking with clients, Investing, Advising Companies and Managing Projects. He especially loves spending time with his family, travelling, eating well and staying fit. Now a new path - RAF wants to make a difference to people's lives in his own way.
