Our waterjet system handles materials up to 5 x 10 and as much as 6 thick. It allows for more intricate cutting on the broadest range of materials. It is the most versatile profiling machine, period! Water is pressurized to 60,000psi then forced through a small orifice in the cutting head. Inside a mixing tube an abrasive substance is combined with the high-pressure water creating an abrasive stream that exits the nozzle at about 1.5 times the speed of sound. Almost any material can be processed using waterjet technology metal, glass, composites, gasket material, marble, stone, and more.
