Blue Sky Studios is an award-winning feature-animation studio that captures the hearts of viewers all over the world through real, diverse, and relatable characters, authentic stories, and thought-provoking themes. The studio has produced a total of 12 CG animated feature films to date, including the wildly successful Ice Age and Rio franchises and the Academy Award®-nominated Ferdinand in 2017. Next up for the studio is the action comedy Spies in Disguise that releases Christmas 2019, followed by Nimona in 2021.

In 2019 the studio won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Nature Documentary and 2020 the studio’s BEASTIE BOYS STORY documentary directed by Spike Jonze was nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards.
Pulse Films’ feature film credits include forthcoming feature PIG starring Academy Award winning actor Nicolas Cage, PERFECT directed by Olivia Wilde and Berlin Film Festival audience award winner MOGUL MOWGLI starring Riz Ahmed. The studio also produced 2018’s SKATE KITCHEN from director Crystal Moselle, Andrea Arnold’s Cannes Jury Prize winner and BAFTA nominated AMERICAN HONEY, Sundance Award winners THE WITCH and ALL THESE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS and 2018’s Emmy Nominated NO GREATER LAW for A+E.
Pulse Film is also behind culturally defining and award winning music films which includes Beyoncé’s Emmy nominated and Peabody Award winning film LEMONADE, Nick Cave’s BAFTA nominated 20,000 DAYS ON EARTH, LCD Soundsystem’s SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS and London Film Festival hit RUDEBOY: THE STORY OF TROJAN RECORDS.
