The Aspen Global Change Institute advances global change science and solutions by furthering interdisciplinary understanding and community to catalyze science-informed action. AGCI engages solutions-seekers—including researchers, practitioners, boundary-spanners, citizens, and learners of all ages—through convening, collaborative research, education, and communications. Like global change itself, this mission is broad, cutting across systems, geographies, and the domains of research and practice. Our work to span these boundaries takes place at local, regional, and global scales.

Ross Valley Charter is a public school option that leverages a progressive education model emphasizing inquiry and exploration, hands-on, immersion-based experiences, and an active learning-by-doing approach to prepare students to work effectively together in teams, think critically, seek information to solve problems, and be lifelong learners and culturally competent members of our diverse global community.

We’re developing a network of "Thrive Learning Labs" to empower all learners, starting with teenagers, with opportunities to explore and develop interests and passions into fulfilling careers. Students design and direct projects with community coaches and employers to study real-world challenges and create powerful solutions. We know that high-quality education correlates with success in college, jobs, life, health, and happiness. We also know that access to such education is not equal - that too many young people are unable to flourish and thrive to their potential in school and community.
