QuitTas (formerly Quit Tasmania) is part of Cancer Council Tasmania and has been leading efforts in tobacco control since 1995 through prevention, support, research, and advocacy programs. Our vision is a Tasmania free from the harms of nicotine addiction from tobacco and related products, including e-cigarettes. QuitTas aims to eliminate the harms by preventing uptake, denormalising use, and supporting all Tasmanians to quit for good. Our core programs and services include the Tasmanian Quitline, public education campaigns and community capacity building.
