The journey began in 1970s when my father owned and operated a Texaco full service station beginning his expertise in his mechanical background. Through stops along the way working for International Harvester, Montgomery Wards, Caterpillar Engine Test, Midtown Brake and Electric, and P & G Keene Electrical rebuilders he has amassed a great wealth of years of knowledge of many applications. His passion for drag racing and oval track racing proved yet again a valuable experience in the high performance side of electrical systems. Commercial - Fleets, forklifts, agriculture, emergency equipment, high lift, rental equipment, material handling, rail, portable air compressors, standby generator, and buses complete starting and charging systems. Automotive - Quickstart sell new and remanufactured units for all makes and models with thousands of units in stock or available in a 24 hour time frame in most cases. Quickstart will also install, inspect, or troubleshoot in our shop. Complete system service is our specialty. Quickstart Electrical Systems is centrally located next to the new Levi District in downtown East Peoria. Our recently remodeled store is the place where fleets, farmers, material handling, and municipality's professionals have been buying their electrical products and having their technical questions answered for years. We do not sell filters, tires, brakes, building supplies or other component parts we are the dedicated electrical systems experts. Today's charging and starting systems are integrated with other computer monitored sensors and processing units making the need for expert advice a must. The roulette process of the past of changing parts till problem was solved will not fit in most family budgets today with each component battery, starter, and alternator each at or over a $100 in cost.
