Question Jam is a free ed-tech tool for groups to explore a topic through multiple 1:1 interactions with their peers for 7 minutes. This dynamic format enables purposeful participation from every student, enhancing active and collaborative learning. At the end of the Jam, a word cloud contains all the questions and answers, offering a visual summary of the learning activity. The data can be downloaded to to use as a needs analysis, support formative assessments and generally assists with observing conceptual understanding. In this way Question Jam complements Active Learning and Instructional Design in education. The tool is privacy-focused, collecting no personal data from participants. Only the Jam leader needs to register, aligning with our values of fostering a curious and collaborative world. Question Jam is operated by the non-profit The Question Collective - based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
