Quest was founded by an innovator of new technologies David Hallam in 1991, but focused on healthcare in 1994. The company is based in Cheadle, Stockport. David's patented technology is known as Close Coupled Field Technology or CCFT.Quest/Airmanager was one of the winners in the 2009 Trustech Smart Solutions, The ONLY winners of the Air category were the technology CCFT by Quest /Airmanager along with GE and Inov8, neither Quest nor Airmanager has ever changed it's name. One of the type of Quest units used for the test was an AirManager Log10-200 series unit, (one of David's designs).CCFT is an independently certified technology which provides a noticeable, breathable sterilized environment.These days CCFT is used internationally in a variety of applications including bespoke environmental situations, Aerospace, Marine, and plays an integral part in Chester Zoo's Quarantine Centre which was designed by David Hallam. David Hallam has managed to invent a technology which has become so versatile that it can be produced in stand alone units and is adaptable for bespoke and retrofit requirements.
