Queen's Venture Capital Information

Queen's Venture Capital (QVC) is ratified under the Alma Mater Society (AMS) and is entering our fourth year of operations; our mandate is to connect aspiring student entrepreneurs with the industry connections and expertise they need to bring their ideas to life. On our team of 20 are some of the brightest students at Queen’s, with work experience in Venture Capital, Technology Powerhouses, Fortune 500 Companies, and Startups. Consulting: We actively consult on student startups and business ideas, utilizing our connections within Venture Capital and Tech to provide recommendations. Events: Previously, we've held events featuring funds like Real Ventures, Relay Ventures, iNovia, and BDC. This year we are planning on hosting 3 exciting events next semester, bringing industry professionals down to participate in speaker series, workshops, and competitions. Reports: We will also function as a research and reporting hub using our skilled analysts to provide synthesized debriefs on the most dynamic industries, such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Renewable Energy, and Fintech.
