Located at the edge of Amsterdams famous red light district, Cafe the Queens Head is one of Amsterdams oldest gay bars and still going strong! We organise many special events in our bar, the most famous of them being our weekly bingo. During weekends you can have a cozy drink or dance the night away to the tunes of one of our resident DJs, who play their funky and catchy music from 22:00 untill 3:00 every friday and saturday. Having been a down-to-earth gay hotspot for nearly two decades, Cafe the Queens Head continues to be a bar with a very diverse clientele. Some of our regular guests have been visiting the bar for years, but every day we also have tourists and newcomers enjoying the stunning view over the canals for the first time. While Cafe the Queens Head is a gay bar (not just gay friendly), we welcome guests of every gender, race, sexuality and age.
