"Discover Something New Together" Visiting a new church can be overwhelming. At St John Baptist Church, we strive to make you feel like family the moment you walk through the doors. Don't be surprised if a complete stranger welcomes you like an old friend. To make you feel more at ease before you visit, here are some things to know: Where Do I Go? You can start by entering the main or rear entrance. Once inside, you can stop by our Welcome Center located in the lobby. One of our greeters or ushers will be happy to direct you to our nursery and answer any questions you might have. When Are Your Worship Services? We have two worship services with three worship styles: the Traditional Service, the Blended/Contemporary Service. The Traditional Service begins on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. This service is more traditional with a full choir, and hymns. The Blended/Contemporary Service begins at 10:15 a.m. This service is a blend of the traditional and contemporary services. The Contemporary Service begins at 12 noon. This service provides a more relaxed atmosphere and a praise team & worship band. We also have a Wednesday Evening Power Hour service at 7:00 p.m. How Do I Find a Sunday School Class? We have plenty of opportunity for every individual to plug into a Sunday School class. From ages 3 to to Golden Agers and everyone in between, we have an inviting class waiting for you. Our Parish serves the needs of the community in different ways. We offer preparation for the sacraments, education for children and adults, youth ministry, social activities, assistance to those in difficulty, comfort to the sick and to those who mourn a loss. If you have a Catholic background but have been inactive in the Church recently, please call us if you are interested in updating. We will help you to get any information you may want. We have an ongoing program for those who wish to join the Catholic Church or for those who may want information about the Catholic Church or St. Theresa Parish.
