Queen City Ringers Inc Information

Queen City Ringers is an incorporated non-profit, tax-exempt (501-c) Community Handbell group based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The objectives of the organization are not only to attract and organize qualified ringers and directors in all aspects of handbell music, but also to educate others in the community about handbells and to encourage the public interest and appreciation of the instruments. The group is a member of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers. Started in September 1983 as an outlet for talented ringers and directors by Dick Wall, the group has run the gamut from a full 11 plus member choir to a 5 person ensemble. We currently ring 5 and a half octaves of Malmark Handbells with 11 ringers. Queen City Ringers promotes and supports Sue Berry's ideas for Healthy Ringing® and have enjoyed a long relationship with Robert A. Ivey and William Payn. We are currently rehearsing at First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.
