Qubit.hu is an independent pop-sci online media outlet in Hungary, with 700,000 readers a month, dedicated to scientific results, technological innovations, important trends in modern economies, resulting social impacts, and the success of Hungarian researchers. Strictly non-political and of a public service zeal, Qubit.hu operates with the outside participation of more than 100 researchers and scientists. In addition to news articles, readers can find comprehensible yet longer studies and analyses in the online paper. These collaborations make the most difficult topics transparent and acceptable to a wider audience. Qubit also prides itself in organizing scientific conferences. The scientific events called Qubit Live hosts discussions on the greatest challenges of the 21st century with leading Hungarian researchers and an interactive audience of 100-200 people. We publish 160-180 articles a month so far having reached the publication of over 12,000 articles. We have 82,000 followers on Facebook, our weekly newsletter is read by 18,000 subscribers, and 8-12,000 people listen to each program on our podcast channels.
