Alles begann vor 30 Jahren in Hamburg. 1992 eröffnet Thomas Hermanns seinen ersten Quatsch Comedy Club und ermöglicht der Stand-Up Comedy in Deutschland Fuß zu fassen. Dass daraus etwas Großes werden kann zeigte sich 2002, als der zweite Club in Berlin eröffnet wurde. Die „Kleine Revue im Friedrichstadtpalast“ wird zu einem Quatsch Comedy Club und etablierte sich schnell zum Mutterhaus. In der Zwischenzeit gibt es weitere Spielstätten in München, Stuttgart und Nordrhein-Westfalen.
