Quantum Quest develops multi-domain autonomous systems for drones operating underwater, on the surface, in the air and on land. Our work aims at making advanced control systems more accessible across all these environments. At the moment, our main focus is on underwater drones and surface autonomy. Our technology is organized into three layers. MAVRIC is the autonomy operating system responsible for navigation, sensor fusion, mission execution and real-time decision processes. Mission Control Cores (MCCs) are modular hardware units that adapt the system to the requirements of a specific operational environment. Above this sits the application layer, which provides tools for defining missions, monitoring operations and managing fleets. These applications are also tailored to the domain in which a drone operates. We concentrate on creating a consistent and adaptable architecture rather than on building complete drones. The aim is to provide a foundation that integrators and manufacturers can use across different types of platforms, supporting reliable operation in conditions where traditional control systems may be limited.
