Founded in 2014, Bristol's Quantum Engineering Centre for Doctoral Training offers an exceptional training and development experience for those wishing to pursue a career in the quantum technologies industry, or in academia. It supports the understanding of sound fundamental scientific principles and their practical application to real-world challenges. Our students are given the opportunity to put their burgeoning knowledge of science and engineering into practice from the outset. The Quantum Engineering Centre for Doctoral Training is uniquely placed to bridge the disciplines of physics, engineering, mathematics and computer science. In addition to this, we work closely with chemists, biologists and life scientists.
