At Qualtonomy, we are injecting social technology into living wills to give everyone powerful tools to communicate this planning to people they trust. The communication is key, and we want to make it work exceptionally well. We are giving everyone the secure tools they need to not only plan for critical medical situations where they cannot communicate or make decisions on their own, but also to share and discuss their wishes with people they trust, such as family, friends, and physicians. Then if someone has a critical medical situation but cannot communicate, the people caring for them will know how they want to be treated and cared for. Essentially, we are striving to delight our users by making the normally bland and dull experience of completing a living will into a surprisingly engaging, efficient, and effective experience! Interestingly, we've noticed that planning for critical medical situations encourages one to think about their own life values and how to live life well. So we decided to create an online network of wisdom and call it the Wisdom List. On it, Qualtonomy users can post, share and follow micro-blogs of bits of wisdom, which we call "WiseBits." Through the Wisdom List, we want nothing less than to aggregate the world's wisdom in one place!
