I set up Quality Standards Group because I know how stressful Ofsted inspection can be — particularly when you are not sure where your real gaps are. I have spent over 30 years working in further education and skills. I have built and run a training provider, led operations across complex FE organisations, and worked with providers at every stage of the inspection journey. I know what inspectors look for, I know where most providers fall short, and I know what actually makes the difference to outcomes. QSG exists to give FE colleges and training providers an honest picture of where they stand — and practical, expert support to close the gaps before inspection arrives. No jargon.
